Today, Kings Dominion announced their newest ride, Delirium. Standing in the place of the now closed Shockwave roller coaster, this ride is set to thrill guests in the Candy Apple Grove section of the park.
The ride will take 40 guests 115 feet into the air as they spin around. The ride will swing up to 120 degrees in the air. No manufacturer has been announced, but it is expected to be either a Mondial or Zamperla model of the ride.
Although this isn’t the roller coaster I was hoping for, I am definitely excited for this new ride. They are always fun and thrilling additions to parks, and I just love them. I can’t wait to ride this in 2016!
